About Copper State Riding Club
Copper State Riding Club is a legacy-driven riding community built on horsemanship, integrity, and culture. Rooted in the rich history of Black Cowboys in the American West, we are committed to preserving tradition while training confident, responsible riders of all ages. Through structured riding lessons, hands-on ranch responsibilities, and meaningful mentorship, our members develop skill, discipline, and a deep respect for horses, the land, and one another. More than a place to learn how to ride, Copper State Riding Club is a family. Our community-centered approach emphasizes leadership, accountability, and service, both on and off the ranch. Every rider who joins us becomes part of a lasting legacy—one that rides with purpose, leads with integrity, and strives for excellence.

Ranch Responsibility
Ranch responsibility is a core part of membership at Copper State Riding Club. Every member contributes hands-on service to the care of the horses and the upkeep of the ranch through monthly duty hours. These responsibilities may include feeding, grooming, cleaning stalls, assisting with lessons, and maintaining the grounds. Through this work, members learn accountability, teamwork, and respect for the animals and the land, strengthening the foundation of horsemanship and community that defines our club.
Represent the Legacy With Integrity
Every member of Copper State Riding Club is expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct. Our Code of Conduct exists to protect the safety of our horses, the strength of our community, and the legacy we represent. Membership is a privilege, and each rider is accountable for their actions on and off the ranch.
